Don’t miss the unique opportunity to conquer Nevado Mateo and create unforgettable memories in the mountains. Seize the day and embark on the adventure of a lifetime!

We’ll pick you up at your hotel early in the morning at 3:00 a.m. to start our exciting expedition. We’ll head north, passing through the province of Carhuaz, and then east through the Quebrada Ulta until we reach the Punta Olimpica tunnel, which is located at an altitude of 4736m and is the starting point of our adventure.

During the first hour, we’ll walk on the moraine of the massive rocks, some of which are very steep and will require you to use your hands to advance. Once we reach the base of the glacier, you’ll receive a brief introduction to mountaineering before we start our ascent.

The first part of the ascent is about 100 meters with a slope of 45°, while the remaining 70 meters have a slope of 50°. Once we reach the summit, we’ll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views before descending the same way back to our starting point and returning to Huaraz.”
