We depart from Huaraz towards the north, visiting the third province of the Callejón de Huaylas: Carhuaz. We make a 30-minute stop to visit and enjoy artisanal ice creams. Continuing our journey, we admire the breathtaking views of the Huascarán and Huandoy snow-capped mountains and their surroundings. Then, we pass through the last two provinces of the Callejón de Huaylas: Yungay and Caraz.
From this last province, we head east to take a dirt road that leads us to the Parón Valley. After approximately two hours of travel, we arrive at our destination where we can enjoy activities such as kayaking or boating, and take a short hike of about 40 minutes to the viewpoint and Finally, we return to Huaraz.
